Spray the furniture with essential oils of orange, lemon, eucalyptus or rosemary oils.
Place small slivers or orange and lemon rind in sachet bags, tied firmly to the furniture arms and seat areas.
Rub essential oil of Rue or Tea tree oil on the furniture.
Place numerous pots of rosemary, Lavender, Rue on your patio.
You could keep the chairs tipped when you are not using them
