Patricia...What size rocks do you plan to use? Small ones can be added to flower beds, or medium used as borders. You can use larger ones in the beds.
Be sure to use landscape fabric or black plastic underneath the rocks to prevent weeds from popping up.
It depends on what you want the end results to be. You can use them as border, fill in, dry bed, waterfall, just to begin. If you provide more specifics, you can get some fantastic ideas. There are so many creative minds on this forum.
As said, it depends on what size rocks. For starters, you can use a mix of different size rocks to create a rock garden bed. Pile them up and place garden soil in any nice pockets you've created. Plant with succulents and forget to water it! 😎🌵
