how much apple cider vinegar and how much Epsom salts do you mix for the weed killer

    Wanda....I use spray bottle and do 2 cups vinegar and 1/4 salt...also add a little Dawn.

    Hi Wanda, here is the recipe.

    Natural Weed Killer


    • 1 gallon white vinegar
    • 1 cup salt
    • 1 tablespoon liquid dish soap

    Combine ingredients in a spray bottle and treat weeds at the sunniest time of day for best results.

    Thanks ! I was just thinking about a nat. weed killer. As a very senior lady, I don't want to risk using Round Up.

    You should be aware that regular table salt (sodium chloride) will render the soil sterile. You won’t be able to grow things if salt is in the soil in sufficient amounts. Epsom salts are used to treat magnesium deficiency in soil so it should not have the same effect. But a high level of Epsom salts could still effect the soil.
