How do I kill weeds
Hi Walter. I'm Cindy. Salt will kill weeds. In fact, salt will kill anything it touches. Some people like to water directly after applying the salt so that the roots will receive the salt that much quicker. (And will die that much quicker.) Good luck Walter.
I mix 1 gallon of vinegar, 1 cup of salt and 1 Tablespoon of Dawn in a large sprayer and spray the weeds first thing in the morning on a very sunny day. The sun together with the vinegar and salt cooks the weeds.
I add vinegar and water and salt. I spray directly on the weeds I want to kill (sometimes using cardboard tubes to direct the spray more precisely). In a few hours, the weeds sprayed will begin dying from the roots. Wait until the next day to pull and destroy the weeds so there is less chance that any roots or seeds are left to grow again. I hope this works for you. Jewell
