I planted lots of hostas and other perennials only to discover that the bloody rabbits like to eat them. Any ideas on how I can discourage them? better yet, how to get rid of them

Dry red pepper flakes have worked well for me...organic and won't hurt plants. The only disadvantage is you must put more down after a heavy rain. Still, that didn't deter me and I got rabbits OUT of my garden!! You can buy a huge bottle at Costco, Sam's Club or a restaurant supply store.

You can buy Deer and Rabbit Repellent at hardware store. If you have a lot, consider the concentrate and a pump sprayer. Just spray it on the plants. I'm not sure if it's safe to spray on food/vegetables, but maybe spray the perimeter area around the garden.

You can mix in some plants that are deer & rabbit repellant.
