How to get rust spots off a tub/shower surround?

Rust water scum on tub/shower surround is hard to get off. What home solution or product removes the rust build up?

Take a Brillo and comet on a Brillo pad wet itlightly scrub the spot till it comes off
Clr for kitchen and bath, or commercial rust remover, ie iron out
Lysol Lime & Rust Remover Toilet Bowl cleaner, comes in a black squirt bottle. Scrub with Scrub Daddy or Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
I love the barkeepers friend spray. Spray and let sit for I think 5 minutes and then scrub. If you don't let it sit, it doesn't work as well.
