How to get rid of chipmunks?

I have a lot of chipmunks in my yard.... neighbors do as well. Up til now we have ignored the little chewing on plants, stepping in little burrows etc. But NOW they are eating the boards on my house? Suggestions?

Contact your local city officials for number of rodent control to see if they can put traps down to catch and release them elsewhere...
Havahart traps with bird seed as bate. Works every time.
Can be found at grain and feed stores or some hardware stores.
Most of the big box like LOWES and HOME DEPOT would have them also.
