How to paint bathroom cabinets?

I know I have heard both sides to paint on top the finish without sanding, but I have to do it now or find a way to cover the worned area's

  Thats one easy way...I would add to buy a template for mounting pulls, home depot has about 15 online ( one in store)

Some people swear by chalk paint. No sanding, no prep. I personally have never used it.

  Pat, you don't need to sand with chalk paint or the paint I have shown you in my previous reply. I have done several projects without sanding a bit. In fact I was regretted when I sanded my laundry room cabinet as it would have given me more sleek and smooth appearance without sanding. Yest I would recommend deep cleaning though. Otherwise you are good to go. If it is possible for you to show me the picture I can tell you right away if you need sanding in your case or no.

No sanding with chalk paint. Just clean well.
