Why is my Japanese maple shedding some leaves?

Is that ok in end of May? If not, what other signs should I look for? What’s wrong? Thank you, Barbara

I would check with a local nursery to see if there is something bad happening, but most likely it is OK
It's perfectly normal. Look for any signs of pests or disease. Then treat if you find anything. Normal for any tree to drop leaves here and there during the growing season. I just planted one in my yard, they are beautiful and low maintenance.
