How to keep a chipmunk from digging?

How can I stop a chipmunk from digging up around my flagstones. He tunnels in between the stones. I put the gravel back and he does it again! What can I put in between the stones to keep him from digging? Thanks!

Perhaps it is a gopher and not a chipmunk???
Try sprinkling some "Blood Meal" in the area to deter them. They do not like the smell.
