My cat has a bad habit of sharpening her claws on the arm of my sofa. It has left the surface with pinholes. Is there a way to fix this?

I have used paintable caulk over the damaged areas. Smooth with wet fingers. Let dry then sand smooth. Paint area with regular latex wall paint to match your leather. Sometimes there is a piece attached to the underside of your furniture you can take in to color match your paint. I did this to a sofa and love seat 2 years ago and you can’t tell where the repaired areas even are!

Thank you! I would never have thought of that.

I used heavy floor wax to force them back into place, I then took scissors and cut off the worst pieces. Find a waterbased marker that matches to cover the area, or even Old English scratch cover. Leather is a natural material, so it absorbs well. THe marker hid the spots so well that my husband didn't find them.

Thank you, I will try that. Sounds like a great solution.
