Hi Emma. Using cow manure is a good way to feed your plants. You just want to make sure it is not fresh and has been sitting. I would put it around the base of the plants and then take a small garden shovel and work it in the soil.

No. It will burn them. You have to age the manure for (I believe) one year before using it as fertilizer. Google how long for sure.

Fresh cow manure will burn or kill the plants. Composted manure in bags is good. Fresh manure needs to be composted

Hi Emma, you sure can! Cow manure is a great all-purpose fertilizer. It's low in nitrogen so it won't burn your tender plants, and has a good balance of nutrients. What's more, since a cow's four stomachs digest its food so thoroughly, very few weed seeds make it through, so you don't have to worry about them.

Apply the cow manure by sprinkling near the root zone of the plants for good results. Water the plants after applying the manure to mix it properly with the soil. It can be used on home garden plants as well as in organic farming
