How to enlarge a closet & install a new water heater & water filter?

i live in a mobile home and am willing to "rearrange" to get at least a 20 gal heater and a whole house water filter for bad well water. my water really sucks.

    Hi. You certainly can do these things in your mobile home. You can actually install your water tank and filter outside your home. You can either build a small shed around the tank or buy a prefab plastic one. You need to keep it dry from the elements. If you use a plastic one drill holes in the walls for the lines. Use silicone caulk to seal around the water lines. It would be best to hire a plumber to hook up the lines and run any necessary extra ones. It's not inexpensive to hire a professional, but well worth it in the long run, unless you know what you're doing. Good luck.

      If you build a WH & filter closet outside, both the water heater & the supply lines need insulation.

      If it freezes there, the water filter needs to be inside and warm.

    Please get your well water tested if you’ve any health problems or GI problems. I learned this the hard way.
