If any of you have been following along with my crafts/DIY's, you know I'm a big fan of pom poms. I love them and can't get enough, but can you blame me? What's not to love about a pom pom?

This past week it was snowing in Colorado... snowing in May! It was dark and gloomy out and I needed something to brighten up my mantel. It was also the last week of school and we had a million things going on, but making these pom pom flowers in between activities, truly kept me sane!

Make pom poms in your favorite colors.

Add a drop of hot glue to the center of the pom pom and stick a skewer into the pom pom.

Be sure to squeeze the pom pom around the glue.

Trim any long pieces and you have an adorable pom pom flower. You can add leaves with felt, but I like them just like this.

Place them in vases around the house to brighten up your space.

These would also look great as centerpieces for a party.

I love how they look on my mantel. It might be dark and gloomy outside, but these flowers really do brighten up this space!

You can also tie them up with a ribbon or a bow and give as a gift to a friend or neighbor.

Who wouldn't love to get a bouquet of flowers that will last forever?

I love these... there are so many ways to use these and the best part is they are so easy to make and you probably already have everything on hand to make them!
