Just use thinned down paint. Have fun
I diluted latex paint and used a dry brush method.
Paint thinned with water depending how much wash you want. I "painted" the grout lines then across the brick face . there is no right or wrong. Go for it!
Be prepared it will take you eyes/brain several days to accept the new color.
