What can I plant in a rocky, clay slope?
I have a hill behind my house that is approx 45degrees steep. At its base is my block retaining wall. This hill has Many Rocks and has clay soil. What in the world can be planted in this mess so that I don’t have to look at clay and rocks. PS. It is shady. Thank you

There are many kinds of creeping ground cover you could use. I wold research one of the gardening sites to get some ideas for your location as you need to know what growing zone you are in. You may have to start off by adding some top soil and then go from there.
Go to a local greenhouse, not big box store. They will know most of the soil conditions in the area and can suggest some plants and/or ground cover that will work in rocky clay soil.
