If you can remove the cushions, consider adding another layer of 3" foam sheet underneath, but I would think about covering it with a piece of fabric first.
I had the same here and i think you better buy a new one there is not much you can do or you can cut the couch open and see what is happening inside and then ..you can maybe repair it or you can go to a furniture maker

Could you put some foam under the cushions to prop them up?
Also add furniture risers too.
