How can I make an inexpensive turtle pond?

I would like to build a turtle pond in backyard. Looking for simple inexpensive ideas, especially for pump and filter.

You can buy used pond parts on Craig's list, Habitat, let it go, etc.

Dig it to shape you want, plastic liner (lowes has them). Use stakes to hold down, rocks for the edging.
