Any ideas on adjusting/fixing the awning on a lawn swing so it doesn’t hold water. Front and back of awning fill with a few gallons of water when it rains.

I would take length of elastic on underside stitch on edge, if there is a bar slide over the bar then stitch on the other edge. Be sure to pull snug enough to tighten the top. Elastic comes I. White and black. On dark I would use black. You might have to tack center, but I would try just edges first.

You can use PVC pipe for extra supports underneath the canopy. Cut them slightly oversize so they can flex up taking up the slack in the canopy. Another solution is use a grommet to cut three or four holes on the front and back in the fabric. The grommets will prevent the fabric from fraying.
