I would throw in washer with “Lestoil” and regular laundry detergent. I used this on my boys clothes to remove grass stains, ground in clay sand, grease from bike chains and even blood. In my opinion, Lestoil is magic in a bottle! With 3 boys it was a must have!

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser should clean that.

Once clean, make sure you use a product like scotchguard.

Yes, you can throw them in the washer with an old towel and a good detergent. I do this all the time with my leather running shoes and they come out like new.

Try a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Scrub good with a tooth brush and toss in the washer.

Do a test on a small area first.

Usually the best/only way to remove water marks is to rewet the item. In this case, I'd agree with everyone else and toss them in the washer. Personally, I do an extra rinse for things like this. If the insoles come out, remove them. Check to see if they are washable or not. I leave the laces in my sneaks but loosen them as far as possible and pull the sides open from the tongue. Don't leave in the dryer until completely dry so as to not "burn" anything. Remove while still slightly damp and air dry.

A dab of white toothpaste on a damp cloth and gently brush the spots. Let it foam up and wipe off with a damp cloth. Will also clean the rubber. I use it on practically everything I sell on Ebay. Scotchgard spray to waterproof them.
