Is it too early to start thinking about 4th of July decorations? I had this yarn at home and made this 4th of July garland and I love how cute it turned out. I don't do a ton of decorating for 4th of July like I do with other holidays, but I do like some stuff here and there. I used to love 4th of July for one reason... the pig roast we would have at my Aunt and Uncles house. They lived on a farm and would go all out every year. We'd have a band, jumpy castle, games, food and of course, fireworks. We would get there around noon and stay the entire day... it was so much fun and we made so many great memories. They sold their home a few years ago and since then, we've celebrated in a much more low-key way - and that's ok too! icon

Decide how long you want your garland and cut your loop yarn to length. You can use regular yarn instead of the loop, but the loop yarn is what really makes this tassel cute.

Start making tassels with the red white and blue yarn.

I added metallic streamers to the white tassels and they look really cute!

Now you can tie your tassels to the garland.

Use a hot glue gun and add small pom poms.

Do you guys love this cute little garland as much as I do?

You can hang it on a plant (indoors or out)

Hang it on a mantel, shelf or mirror for some festive 4th of July home décor.
