I've heard boiling water,
vinegar
or salt and hot water will work
2 cups Vinegar, 1/4 cup salt and dawn in a spray bottle.

I just use boiling water or vinegar in a pump sprayer.
Many people have had success using a highly concentrated form of vinegar. Do a google search to see which % to use, but be careful using it as it's potent. Otherwise, you can give it a try with household vinegar.
I have used straight vinegar before
Pouring salt directly into cracks will work .Though be careful it doesn't blow onto flowers or grass nearby, as it will kill it too.
