You can buy heavy duty velcro at any local fabric store. Some of it has an adhesive back so it will attach both to the cushions and the back of this patio couch. You might consider cutting longer pieces so there is more grip to keep the back cushions in place better. I would use two strips-one at the top of the back and one farther down closer to the seats. It should work!

Can you add velcro to the back ones? That is what I would do. You can buy some packs of velcro at Joanne Fabrics, Micheals, Hobby Lobby etc. Anywhere that has sewing supplies would have the velcro brand. They have packages of all different backings(like adhesives or sewn in) that hold different weights. In this situation you wouldn't have to worry about how much weight it holds because you aren't hanging anything like drapes or valance. You would have to put the other half on the rattan(use adhesive ones) ...then put the other half of the velcro on the back of the cushions. I would use the sew in kind for that. Don't use the ones with the adhesive on the back of the cushions because it won't work, unless the adhesive is specifically for fabric. The other option if you don't know how to sew is putting a fabric glue on the back instead of sewing them. Use something like Fabri-tac. That is the one of the best permanent glues for fabric. If you can't find it at a sewing store.....ASK for a good one! I hope this helps!
