What are led lights?

You can put different types of lights under the cabinets. I have flourescents under mine but there are a lot of people who use LED lights for under the cabinets.

LED is the new filament they now are using for light bulbs. More energy efficient, lasts longer, no heat output, brighter, more exspensive but worth it. Almost all bulbs now come in LED. If trying to decide on under counter lighting, they would be good. Lots of choices. Visit a stand alone lighting store for more info and ideas.

Check out you local home improvement store, like Home Depot, etc. You will be able to see all kinds of under cabinet lighting such as single lights, fluorescent, strip lighting, lots of LED lights and even rope lighting. You should be able to find something you like to put under your cabinets. LED is probably the more expensive, but cheaper to run and last a lot longer than other forms.
