Thomas, You can add shelving with family pictures and collected items. Flowers in vase or valance. A chester drawer or dresser. Small table with two small chairs...sooooo many ideas.
Fill it with something that makes you happy to look at since it's what you'll be facing from bed! I'd recommend a gallery wall of favorite photos in coordinating frames, or maybe some meaningful artwork.
Thomas: get two or three large, blank canvases... put them "together" and paint with a simple design with acrylic paint (available at Michaels, Walmart)
