You did not say whether this kitten was kept indoors or outdoors. If the latter, bring him inside. If he is getting fleas from inside your home, then you need to get them out of your home before any treatment will work for the kitten.

And you'll need to clean and treat the kitten's surroundings several times because flea eggs are extremely resistant and will continue to hatch until you rid the bedding of them.
