If you have a blender, puree up the peppers with some water (cup or two), then strain out the solids as best as possible (to prevent clogging in the spray mechanism). Give it a try. My grandfather made an insect spray from used cigarette filters. (A definate yuk I know) but nicotine is a nerve toxin. He would put one or two butts in a tin can of water. When it becomes 'tea' coloured, pour into your spray bottle. Spray to detour slugs and catepillars. Kepp way from pets ans small children.

Soak the peppers in water, you may find it better if you cut the pepper up into pieces then soak in the water, use the water to spray on your garden/plants to keep pests way
