A friend of mine built decking around his pool to make it easier to get in or out. I'm not sure what your goal is based on question. Inserting a few posts into the ground and topping with a 2x6 can give rigidity near the pool where you can attach the ladder.

Hi! If you are asking about edging on the ground, when we had an above ground pool, we had edging about a foot out from the bottom of the pool, inside the safety fencing, and kept it full if small pebbles. It kept kids from climbing on the side of the pool and kept grass and weeds from around the pool. We tried mulch and sand at various times.

  • Are you looking to replace existing edging? I've ordered parts from Teddy Bear Pool Supply before. Make sure you know what size your pool is and the brand.

Years ago we had an above ground pool. We used rubber boarder staked into the ground approx 24 inches from side of pool. Then laid weed fabric and , lastly, rocks. This method helped from having mud when water splashed over the side. I also put solar lights around the pool. We laid cement blocks for the filter.
