    • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
    • 2 tablespoons baking soda.
    • 1 teaspoon dish soap or Murphy Oil (Note: do not use a dish soap that contains bleach)
    • 2 quart of water.

I use green Palmolive soap and water in a sprayer for aphids and my roses. I’ve done this for years. Apply when it’s not in the sun and after rain. Aphids hate it! Just a few pumps of soap. You don’t need a lot. After years of doing this I finally bought a sprayer specifically to keep the water and soap moisture in it just to grab when I need it

  • We always buy live ladybugs on Amazon and release them. The ladybugs eat the aphids and win-win for all.
