Just repaint
If they are plastic- hey can be power washed. There is also paint for plastic.
Hi Shannon,
We are going to take ours down this summer and repaint them. My plan is to use spray paint because I think it will weather the best. Wishing you the best!
For plastic you can scrub them and give them a new coat of paint, if they're wood I would say sand them down to remove old paint and debris and spray paint or paint them with a weatherproof paint
Just paint them
First sand them to remove any loose paint/particles on the shutters, you could add a base coat of something to protect the shutters in the future, then paint/spray paint that is meant for outdoors, there's lots of colours to choose from. Then a protective seal once the paint is dry
