if you can find a frame that has an deep inset for the photo or whatever you are using this would work. You will need some handles so check out the hardware store to get one from each end. I have seen homemade ones, oblong in nature, made out of wood with the glass put over a nice painting and since it was wood the handles were also wood. It will need to be sturdy to carry anything of weight.
