How do I stop weeds from coming through pea gravel walkway?

-Remove the gravel.

-Kill weeds, and remove roots.

-Cover the area with weed barrier landscaping fabric.

-Recover with the gravel.

For a quick fix, just use plain old white vinegar in a pump sprayer. Let the vinegar and sun do the work for you.

You can dump your boiling cooking water on it after you finish using it, use straight vinegar spray on a hot sunny day, pick by hand, or lay something over it to smother it, but that takes a while and doesn't look great while you wait.
