Use white distilled vinegar! They may come back but they will die down for quite a while.
Use a mixture of vinegar and salt. I gal of white vinegar,1 cup of salt, a few drops of Dawn.
2 cups white vinegar
¼ cup salt
Squirt of dawn

1 gallon vinegar 1 cup salt mix well spray on weeds in full hot direct sun kills everything nothing will regrow protect areas where this will run off
Selective herbicides ( wont harm grass) can be purchased at most retail venues —if you do not wish to use chemicals there are alternatives.
