How can I find lifting strings of my Pella in-between window shades?

How can I find the lifting strings of my Pella in-between window shades which are broken; these strings are very thin and not braided; oem blinds is the manufacturer; I was given the chord but it is thicker and braided, therefore it got stuck in-between the pleats; my windows installed in 2003 and out of warrnty. I need suggestion, please. thank you
