If it's not severe, you can sand and refinish. If it's very slight, try Rejuvenate. If severe, replacement is probably your only solution.
Once the wood swells and buckles, you might need to just wait it out to see what happens. It may take a couple of months to see if the wood will go down back to its normal position which is possible. If you have waited it out and it is still awful, you could replace the wood planks that have been impacted. If you can find the exact flooring and sizing, that could be an option. If the water damage isn't too bad but has affected the finishing in areas, like Kathy said, sand and refinish.
