Is there any prep work involved? If so, can someone clue me into how to clean walls with flat paint?
You can add a glaze that will antique the look of the surface. I did this to several "shiny" picture frames. You rub it on and wipe it off. The longer you leave it, the darker the antique effect is.
You can also apply a clear crackle glaze first, then add antiquing glaze. You can but the products at craft stores.
