How can I replace a screened panel with a polycarbonate sheet?

I have two screened panels on my patios. The screens have deteriorated and my cats have taken advantage of that in order to escape. I'd like to replace the panels with a polycarbonate sheets. Other than the sheets themselves, what tools/hardware/supplies to I need? Thanks!
