Pamela, after removing the window, the framing will need to be reconstructed for a door opening. They are similar, but doors weigh more and the dimmensions are different. I recommend buying a pre-hung door as they are MUCH easier to install. Here's a link to a YouTuber who has the best construction advice: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCzr30osBdTmuFUS8IfXtXmg

If you don't know how to do this it is best to call a contractor. It is not that easy of a task if you don't know how and why you are cutting into your house be it frame or brick.

Also check for electrical wiring. Wires may be running under window and will need to be re-routed over the door.

I agree Pamela, definitely get yourself a pre-hung door as they are easier to put in. It really depends on the size of the window etc. Most windows and doors are framed very similarly as it has nothing to do with the door or the window itself - it has everything to do with SUPPORTING the wall. This includes a large header board across the top and double framing on either side of the opening.

It would be ideal if your window happened to be wider than the door you're putting in and, also, either higher then the top of the door or at the same height the door will end up being. In that case you can literally just add framing to the size of your door and put it in.

If that's not the case you will have to replace all of the supportive framing for your new door.

Hi! This sounds like something that will need professional help. The door can be pre-hung but even that will need to have the space changed to fit the door.
