How can I make a DIY upcycled TV stand ?

I have no tools to build a tv stand; therefore I need to purchase a used item to paint white that can serve as a tv stand. The tv stand must have at least one shelf with the following dimensions: depth of 12 to 14 inches, a heighth of 31 inches, and length of 25 inches to 35 inches. I thought about a book case, but I cannot find one with the desired dimensions.

You might look for a desk or a dresser in local thrift stores. It does take some looking in local thrift stores, garage sales, etc to find exactly the right piece of used furniture that will work for you. You might also consider some wire free standing shelving---this one I am sending you is just about the size youare looking for. If you only need top surface, then take your dimmensions to a Home improvement store. They will cut wood, glass or plexiglass for you to fit your dimmensions

I actually use an Antique Sewing machine table. We have our "boxes" on the sewing machine table and we mounted the TV on the Wall.

We even have a couple antique lamps on each side of the boxes and use the drawers to store smalls in our living room.

You can usually pick up an old sewing machine cabinet at local Habitat Stores, Craigslist, or Goodwill stores for near nothing.

Sounds like you might be looking for a console table to upcycle. The dimensions are about the same.
