Pontoon boat canopy ideas?

We purchased an old fishing boat that needed a lot of loving to be used. One time when we were getting some parts, one of the salesman told us about a couple of canopies they had sitting around that they were going to throw away, as nobody wanted them. We weren't sure which one would work, so we grabbed both. One of them worked great on the boat, even though fishing boats don't normally have canopies. Check out some of your local boat dealers or repair shops and see if they have some they may want to get rid of. We know that the factory made ones are made to be safe if installed right and won't fail and drop on you if it gets windy and is made for weather.

Definitely call a boat shop to see if they have any used ones. People would want brand new, and there's almost no value for old ones.
You will need a pipe bender and thick fabric to make a new one. It will be expensive even to make one.
