How can I make a garden that my dog won't dig up?

How can I make a garden bed outside my kitchen window something that our lab dog cannot dig up thought of large rocks but sure she will take them away one by one Thought of fake grass with pots on but sure the plants will be pulled out. Any ideas.

You could try a raised bed, something tall enough your pup can't get to the plants, or you could try making hanging beds (from empty containers ie:pop bottles, lay them on their side and cut length ways along one side) or stand a pallet up and make it into a flower wall

I use fencing to keep our dogs out of flower beds out back. When I open the fencing to go in to weed or whatever I leave it open and tell the dogs "out". Eventually I hope they will learn these are not areas they cannot go into. My mother did this without fences when I was young. I'm not sure how she did it.
do your bed and lay chicken wire over the top until she doesn't bother it anymore.. also you can sprinkle cayenne pepper (repeatedly) over the soil.. a sniff of two up her nose will let her get the idea, this works for cats also. Keep in mind the hotter the better. I buy mine at the grocery store bulk foods section. Place is in a large old sprinkle seasoning jar.. do it rather heavy the first time. So much cheaper than the cat and dog repellents in the pet stores. ALSO WEAR GLOVES and DON"T rub your eyes
