Decoupage or not - do you have ideas for hanging an oversized poster?

I have an oversized old poster (4ftx6ft) that I wanted to hang on my sons wall. It’s from the 80’s and a little frayed on the corners. Took to a craft/hobby store with their 60%off custom framing coupon. Quoted $632.00 to frame the cheapest way! Totally not happening. So I ask? If I was to decoupage it onto a hard surface, what would I use for that surface? It can’t be real heavy as I want to hang it. And if I still wanted to frame it, what would I use? Any advice on this is greatly appreciated!!

You could use a thin plywood or MDF.
MDF? And I have thought of plywood. Problem is the weight. With it so large it can’t be real heavy if I want to hang it.
