What does RF 17 mean when printed on an antique?

I found a what appears to be an antique or vintage tea pitcher it’s black and white heavy and has RF 17 on it instead of a seam it is fairly smooth is this a mold number or what? Thanks for answering if you know..

    The only possible way to determine is if you take a pic of the piece as a whole and the bottom too.

    Usually an antique has a name or number on the bottom which you can refer to. Try looking it up on line to see if you can find the information you want.
