Fall Pumpkin Vase
Turn an inexpensive foam pumpkin into a pretty vase that can be used as a centerpiece or to decorate your home.
This pumpkin vase is filled with flowers in pretty fall colors and works as a centerpiece from Labor day through Thanksgiving. Change up the flowers and colors as you move through the season to liven up your table.
Start with a faux pumpkin that has a foam core. A hollow core pumpkin won't work for this craft.
Next, core out the center using a craft knife. You will be adding a small vase to the pumpkin, using the vase as a guide only core out enough to fit the vase inside the hole.
Place a vase inside the pumpkin and you are ready to decorate!
You can fill the vase with water and add real flowers, or choose faux flowers and other decorative floral items for this pumpkin vase.
Try adding wheat stems and branches to create a eye catching arrangements. You can create a few of these pumpkin vases in different shapes and sizes to create a fall vignette. Fill each with a different variety of flower for a stunning show of fall color.
