Hair in drain eater run slow help
Here's a link with several ideas:
If the drain that is clogged has a lever "push pull" metal cap over the drain hole that makes it hard to reach, Amazon has an inexpensive tool that looks like a long piece of plastic with teeth on it. You squiggle it into the hole up under the cap and push it down as far as you can then pull it out. The hair gets caught on the teeth and comes out. I have found that using a brush made to clean metal drinking straws also works great for getting out the gunk the hair is sticking to. I also follow up with a full kettle of boiling water poured down the drain , wait five minutes and then run water from the tap for a while to flush the pipe. The reason for the tap water follow-up is to be sure the boiled water has not just moved the gunk further down the pipe in your plumbing. Run enough water that you know the gunk has been pushed all the way past your water main pipe. If water continues to run slowly, repeat the boiling water and flushing.
