You can use the small tension rods for each shelf or if you want to cover several shelves at once you can place a curtain rod at the very top and thread your curtains on to the rod. Here's an article that may help you more than my answer.
Hi Phyllis. You can either mount a rod to the exterior of the top shelf or you can place a tension rod on the interior of the top shelf. If you use ring clips on the rod, they will slide easier allowing you to access the shelves easily.
