I use Simple Green in our home as it disinfects and deodorizes. I am very sensitive to chemical cleaners, but Simple Green does not bother my system at all.

Thanks, I was hoping for a method using baking soda, a dry mix of cinnamon and other ingredients, you sprinkle it on, leave overnight and then vacuum off. I found it on a blog? but forgot to save it.

    ?where? in whole house,in their bedding,in carpet,furniture? what kind of odors feces,urine,old urine, old dog smell,dirty dog smell,cat boxes,musty ferrets,rodents,fish tanks,turtle tanks ???

  • Clean and clean often. Make sure their bedding, throws and toys are washed often. I spritz the upholstered fabric with rubbing alcohol periodically too. Vacuum daily and mop the kitchen floor every night before bed. Infrequent visitors have commented that my house "doesn't smell" in spite of the many pets, so I must be doing something right. Choose your cleaning products carefully so as not to harm your pets.
