Currant leaf blister aphid. ... A Tiny yellowish aphids feed on the lower surface of the currant leaves, causing blistered leaves, which are initially green but soon turn shades of red and purple. Mix a spray with Neem oil to kill the aphids. Apply as directed and repeat every 7 days until clear of insects. Repeat as necessary as this is chemical free!
