There are furniture markers at home improvement stores (generally in the flooring department) that will hide scratches. Also, the scratches can be hidden with the “meat” of a walnut or walnut oil. There is no real way to remove them unless the hardwood is thoroughly sanded and refinished. I hope this helps!
