Need to make slip cover for dining chairs?
Make a pattern out of lining or some cheap fabric with pins until you get your desired look. Then trace outline to make your pattern. Then you can.make it.
Great input from Kelli!
I made covers by turning the fabric inside out and pinning and pinning until the fit was right. Then I stitched it with a basting stitch and turned it right side out and placed it over the chair. I did the back first and when I had that basted, I followed the same process for the seat and then attached the two pieces. Using a basting stitch makes it easy to remove stitching to make adjustments if necessary. I made a set of these for my daughter-in-law 15 years ago and she still has them on the chairs.
